Dr. James Patti is a magna cum laude graduate of the University of Pennsylvania. He earned his Medical Degree from the University of Pittsburgh School of Medicine where he received the Merck Book Award, presented for outstanding academic achievement. For his post-graduate training he moved up to Michigan in 1992, where he completed a surgical internship and an Orthopaedic Surgery residency at William Beaumont Hospital. Returning to the east coast, Dr. Patti completed a spine fellowship at the University of Virginia. He has published articles and made numerous presentations detailing clinical research in his specialty.
Dr. Patti is a Diplomate of the American Board of Orthopaedic Surgery, specializing in lumbar and cervical spine surgery. He is a member of the American Medical Association, NJ Orthopaedic Society, North American spine society, as well as the NJ and Middlesex County Medical Societies.
